THE IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ON ELECTRONIC BUSINESS IN GEORGIA

Summary

Evolution of technologies has had a huge impact on mankind. They make life easier, more comfortable and at the same time, increase the efficiency of human activities. In this matter, evolution of Internet holds one of the most important places. A while ago, making entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial decisions required spending too much time and energy, which was normal at that time. Yet, today it is possible to make decisions way faster, which means that speed of information transfer and speed of our lives are increased. All this made importance of creating and developing E-business in worldwide.

The article describes meaning and key features of E-business and defines its area of action. Characterizes national and international fields, that mastered electronic technologies and increased productivity and efficiency. In addition to this, it describes E-business environment in Georgia.

The article also contains research, where we determined the impact of coronavirus (Covid-19) on consumer and business behavior. We drew conclusions from it and developed appropriate recommendations.
